THE SEVEN CALLS OF DISCIPLESHIP

Jesus calls.
I respond.
The Holy Spirit transforms.

You are welcome here. Maybe you are just beginning with Jesus. Maybe you are coming back after time away. Maybe you have walked with Him for years. This is a place to learn to follow Him, one honest step at a time, together with your fellowship.

START HERE

Come as you are.

Jesus is the one who calls you. He does not wait for you to have your life in order first. He calls you as you are, today.

This journey is the slow, good work of following Him. You hear His Word. You answer Him honestly. You trust the Holy Spirit to change you from the inside. Some of it you will understand quickly. Some of it will take years. That is what discipleship is.

There is no “behind” here. The journey moves with the fellowship, and it comes back around. Start with the session we are on today. You will not miss what matters. Every session stays open, so you can visit any one whenever you need it. All you need is a willing heart and your next honest step.

Jesus calls. I respond. The Holy Spirit transforms.

FOR EVERYONE USING THIS PATHWAY

You are not walking this alone.

Thank you to the ministries and fellowships who use Disciple Me, Jesus to help people follow Him. This pathway belongs to your ministry, and it is an honor to serve the work God is doing through you.

This is the student’s version of the journey. It is yours to read, pray through, and respond to. It is not the facilitator’s platform. The teaching, the gatherings, and the care all come from the discipleship leaders walking with you.

Stay close to them. They are the ones leading you through this pathway. Bring them your questions. Tell them where you are struggling and where you are growing. Show up when your fellowship gathers. This journey is meant to be lived in real relationship, with real people who know your name, not on a screen alone.

THE SEVEN CALLS

What is a Call?

A Call is Jesus inviting you to respond to Him with your life. When Jesus called His first disciples, He said, “Follow me.” His words called for a response. They left their nets and followed Him.

Jesus still calls through His Word. Each Call in this journey brings one part of discipleship into focus. You hear what Jesus says, respond to Him, and depend on the Holy Spirit to transform your life.

These Calls continue throughout your life. You do not stop following when you begin abiding. You do not stop abiding when you begin learning. You keep following, abiding, learning, becoming, serving, going, and making disciples as you grow in Christ.

Jesus calls. I respond. The Holy Spirit transforms.

FOLLOWING JESUS WITH HIS PEOPLE

You need other disciples.

This journey is designed to deepen your relationship with Jesus and help you respond to His Word. As you follow Him, you also need relationships with other disciples.

Your church community gives you a place to worship, serve, belong, receive care, and walk with other believers. Throughout this journey, you will occasionally be encouraged to consider where you can connect through your church.

Disciple Me, Jesus helps you connect with God. Your church helps you connect with God’s people. Your Discipleship Coordinator can help you identify where to connect, serve, grow, and build relationships with other disciples.
